What are the "Sister" houses? Imagine yourself as a wealthy Dayton parent of two lovely daughters in 1866. What do you get them for wedding presents. How about two identical houses side by side in the Dayton's newest suburb (Vinegar Hill; now known as St. Anne's Hill). That's exactly what transpired 150+ years ago. The Gothic and Romanesque architectural styles can be seen in these two of a kind homes. Only one is available today, so if you have two daughters, you're out of luck. But, if you appreciate authenticity and historic integrity, you ARE in luck. I won't waste words trying to describe this home. I'll let the pictures and your visit tell that story.
Dusty and I wanted to thank you for all of your help and advice in selling and purchasing homes. It was so comforting to know that we had you looking out for our best interest. I don't think we could have pulled it off without you. Julie and Dusty Beam
